Born in Berlin, I am living in Vienna for more than 30 years.
Some time ago I seriously started photographing, and from the very first I was engaged in Urban Photography: life as it is, unspectacular, people concerned with their daily affairs.
To me capturing street scenes means to get what I see through the viewfinder, therefore no crop, no retouching, no posing.
Though using color too I like BW much, as an ideal medium to reflect the atmosphere of an ancient city like Vienna.
Sono nato a Berlino, vivo a Vienna da più di 30 anni.
Qualche tempo fa ho iniziato
seriamente a fotografare e fin dal primo
momento sono stato impegnato solo nella fotografia urbana: la vita così com'è, non
spettacolare, le persone in questione con i loro affari quotidiani.
Per me significa catturare scene di strada per ottenere ciò che vedo attraverso il mirino,
senza posa, senza ritocco.
Utilizzo anche il colore ma preferisco il BW che ritengo il mezzo ideale per riflettere l'atmosfera di una città come Vienna.
