My name is Jonathan Nicholson.
I enjoy both street photography and photojournalism. Currently studying Economic and Social History at the University of Glasgow, Scotland, I use photography as a way of getting a release from the writing involved. I also do some freelance writing for some publications based in the UK. I bought my first camera in 2008 and got into street photography in early 2009. There are many inspirations for my photography and I don’t wish to name them all here.
Robert Capa and Jason Eskernazi are the two photographers you might know.
When photographing, I always consider that the subject is more important.

Io uso la fotografia al pari di una scrittura coinvolgente. Scrivo anche come freelance per alcune pubblicazioni nel Regno Unito.
Ho comprato la mia prima macchina fotografica nel 2008 e ho iniziato a fare fotografia di strada all'inizio del 2009.
Per la mia fotografia sono ispirato da molti; senza fare l'elenco di tutti cito solo Robert Capa e Jason Eskernazi che presumo voi conosciate bene. Io considero il soggetto la cosa più importante.
