He was born in Terni, Italy, in 1953.
Silvano Romanelli became a professional photo reporter in the 70's, working with three newspapers: "La Nazione", "Il Messaggero" and "Il Tempo".
He will soon become the first photo reporter of the recently founded "Il Giornale dell'Umbria".
A lover of street photography, he often goes to the cities and small towns to gather unique moments of everyday life.
It is not true that owning an expensive camera will make us a better photographer...

Silvano Romanelli diventa fotoreporter professionista negli anni 70 collaborando con tre Quotidiani, "La Nazione", "Il Messaggero" e "Il Tempo".
Diventa in seguito il primo fotoreporter del "Il Giornale dell'Umbria" appena fondato. Amante della street photography, gira molto frequentemente per le città e i piccoli paesi per cogliere attimi spesso irrepetibili di vita quotidiana.
Non è detto che una fotocamera più costosa della nostra ci renda fotografi migliori...
