Born in Sorrento, today he works as photographer in Munich, Germany. Member of the international photoagency „Laif“, among his clients are book publishers, advertising agencies and wellknown international magazines. His works are outstanding examples of new humanism in modern photography (Camera Work). Raffaele Celentano exclusively uses 35 mm cameras. With fast black and white films and sharp lenses, he is able to photograph almost by stealth to capture the events. Photography is the simultaneous recognition, in a fraction of a second, of the significance of an event as well as the precise organization of forms which gives that event its proper expression. In photography, the smallest thing can be a great subject. The little human detail can become a leitmotif.
