I grew up dreaming of exploring the world, but I was taught it was already done.
I turned to the sea, and after being a diving instructor and an officer on sailing ships,
I realized that for every explored place, another one is lost and forgotten.
Through my photos, I try to tell stories hidden at the borders between the crowded places
and the forgotten ones.
Sono cresciuto sognando di esplorare il mondo, ma mi fu insegnato che era già stato fatto.
Rifugiatomi nel mare, e dopo essere stato istruttore subacqueo e ufficiale su navi a vela, scoprii che per
ogni tesoro che viene scoperto ed esplorato, un altro viene perso e dimenticato.
Con le mie foto, cerco di raccontare le storie nascoste ai confini tra i luoghi frequentati
e quelli dimenticati.
